Understanding the Calendar Views
Borderly offers two calendar views. Learn how each one works and when to use it.
Overview
The Days section shows your tracked days on a color-coded calendar. Each day is filled with the color of the jurisdiction you were in. Borderly offers two different calendar views that you can switch between.
Scrolling Calendar (Default)
The scrolling calendar shows one month at a time. Scroll up or down to move through months. This is the default view and works best for:
- Reviewing recent days.
- Checking a specific month in detail.
- Tapping individual days to see details.
Stacked Quarters View
The stacked quarters view shows all four quarters of the year stacked vertically on one screen, plus a year overview ribbon at the top. This view works best for:
- Seeing the entire year at a glance.
- Spotting patterns across months and seasons.
- Comparing time spent across jurisdictions throughout the year.
Reading the Colors
Each jurisdiction is assigned a unique color. Days are filled with that color on the calendar. If a day has no record, it appears empty. You can customize jurisdiction colors in Settings > Jurisdictions.
