How to Use a Token

Follow these steps:

1

Go to borderly.day/verify

Open your web browser and navigate to the verification page.

2

Enter the token

Paste or type the verification token you received. It is a long string of letters and numbers.

3

Access the portal

If the token is valid, you will see the verification portal with the record holder's data (within the scope defined by the token).

What You Will See

The verification portal shows presence records, evidence metadata, and hash chain information. The exact data depends on what the token holder allowed when creating the token. You may see:

  • A list of presence records with dates and jurisdictions.
  • Individual record details, including the GPS coordinates used to compute each record's hash.
  • Evidence files with metadata and download links.
  • Hash chain verification results.
  • Timestamp proof information.

The main records list shows jurisdiction-level summaries (for example, "New York" or "Florida"). Individual record detail views include GPS coordinates, which are part of the cryptographic hash and are needed for independent chain verification.

Token Expiration

Tokens expire after the period set by the creator (1 to 90 days). If your token has expired, you will need to request a new one from the record holder or their attorney.
