Understanding Subscription Tiers
Compare Borderly's three subscription tiers and find the one that fits your needs.
Overview
Borderly offers three paid subscription tiers: Protect, Certify, and Anchor. All new accounts start with a 60-day Certify trial so you can experience audit-grade features before choosing a tier. After the trial, accounts without a subscription enter read-only mode.
Tier Comparison
Here is a summary of what each tier includes:
- Protect — Automatic day tracking, jurisdictions, residency goals, scenario planning, evidence uploads (5 soft / 10 hard daily), all 6 report types (including court submission, tax advisor, evidence bundle), attorney sharing (up to 3 shares), verification tokens (up to 3), and a tamper-evident SHA-256 hash chain on every record.
- Certify — Everything in Protect, plus automated call verification, RFC 3161 trusted timestamps on every record, unlimited evidence uploads, extended sharing (10 advisors), audit verification tokens (10), and audit-grade data retention. Reports include full cryptographic proof with third-party timestamps.
- Anchor — Everything in Certify, plus blockchain anchoring, unlimited shares, unlimited verification tokens, and priority support.
Important: Every record on every tier is protected by a tamper-evident SHA-256 hash chain. RFC 3161 trusted timestamps are added on Certify and above, and blockchain anchoring is exclusive to Anchor. Upgrading enables the higher level of proof on all new records from that point forward.
How to Change Your Tier
You can upgrade or manage your subscription from Settings > Billing in your web dashboard (or Settings > Subscription in the iOS app), or visit the Pricing page.
Upgrades take effect immediately. If you downgrade, you keep access to your current tier until the end of your billing period. After that, features above your new tier become unavailable — but all your data is retained. If you cancel entirely, your account enters read-only mode for a limited time. If you do not re-subscribe, your data will be permanently deleted.
