How Delegated Access Works
When a client shares access with you, you can view their data through your professional portal. Borderly uses delegated access — you are always acting on behalf of your client, and every action is logged in their audit trail.
Using Delegated Access
Simply click on a client in your Clients list. You are now viewing their data through a delegated lens. Everything you see is their data, and any actions you take (generating reports, downloading evidence) are recorded.
Your access is always scoped to what the client granted. If they restricted you to specific jurisdictions, you will only see data for those jurisdictions.
What You Cannot Do
Delegated access does not let you change the client's account settings, subscription, or sharing preferences. Those are always controlled by the client.
